February 4, 2010 - Thursday

It's unusual for me to be writing on a Thursday. Usually, at this time of the week, I would be in a couldn't-be-bothered type of mood so I end up planning to write my blog entry on Friday. But somehow, today is a little different. It wasn't a significant difference, I must say, because I have trouble finding out what it actually is. I mean, the day went on like any other Thursday would but it was amazing that by around 7 o'clock, my homework was done and dusted and I actually had free time in my hands.

I never really wanted to talk about school, homework and those sort of things but I guess it might actually be a good topic. I'll have fun reading it after like, 5 years time when I have hopefully graduated from secondary school. I'll put it in a separate post. :)

That also reminds me, I have to continue my 'Time Flies' post. Oh well.

Anyway, this was how my week went...

Monday : The first day of the month of February, also the first day of Spring. If I was a person who did not know this, I would still, most likely, think it was Winter judging by the weather. But I know the weather can't be changing substantially in just a matter of a day. As in one day it's freezing and wet then the next day bright, sunny and hot. Unless something magical happens, that is.

Well the school day flew by, believe it or not. It wasn't the kind of Monday I always dreaded, the 'snoresville' kind of type. We even made St. Brigid's crosses, dedicated to the first day of spring, during Irish class. I know, you'd think we would have made it in Art or Religion or something. But who cares really? I've always wanted to make them. When the last bell rang, I was so amazed that the school day had already finished.

Before I headed home, my friend and I stopped by Costcutter. The tangy cheese Doritos were absolutely amazing. I treasured every bite, give me a break, I hadn't had one for more than a month.

Just looking at that picture makes me want to have some. :D

Tuesday : That day, my Facebook status said this, ''There are days when I just wanna bitch slap you, kick you in the crotch and pull your hair out, this is one of those days. Sorry. :)''

I'll explain it. That morning I was pissed off. She had put me in an irritated mode by everything that came out of her bloody mouth. I tried so hard to cover up my annoyance by pretending I did not hear her and by continuing to smile. She had offended me but I simply brushed it off. I had a 'smart' reply in my head that was waiting to spitted out but I kept my mouth shut. I knew things would get ugly if I challenged her.

For the rest of the day, I put that aside. But other than dreadful Choir class and that little feud, the day was okay.

I spotted this kawaii-looking guy as I was walking home. Thumbs up for him.

That night was extremely tiring. My mom had decided that we start moving our belongings to our new house so we did at around 11:30 or so. I would have been fine with the whole idea if only there was no school tomorrow and if the damn luggages weren't so noisy. I collapsed in my bed when we arrived in the new house at around 12:30. We walked home with us being half asleep, our eyes closed.

Wednesday : I assumed it was lashing rain the night before because when I woke up, the streets were wet with small and big puddles here and there. There was rain in the morning and a few more throughout the day. I was exhausted by the end of the day, this I expected because of the short rest I had last night.

My mom most likely noticed my tiredness because she allowed me to stay at home while they moved around again that night. I was clearly fine with that.

Thursday : My classmates were talking about their report cards this morning. They all received theirs but I haven't yet. You see, I still haven't changed my address in school so my report card was probably sent to our old house. I'm really curious about my results even though I sorta know what they are.

The day went like any other Thursday except, like what I said in the start, I had more free time which was brilliant.

Don't you love it when you get hold of free time? I do.
