Roseanne Tan Dizon

Oh, did I ever tell you my full real name? I don't think so; I don't remember doing it.

Well, it's Roseanne Tan Dizon.
Roseanne being my first name.
Tan being my mother's maiden name.
And Dizon being my surname.

Roseanne actually means 'graceful rose'.
Believe me, I never thought of myself as being a 'graceful rose'. I don't even think of myself as being graceful. I was never that kind of person. I don't always do things gracefully or lady-like for that matter. I don't really move gracefully, daintily. And I most definitely not have movements a princess would have.

Tan is actually a Chinese surname while Dizon is actually a variant of the Spanish surname Izón. My mother's grandfather is Chinese so I guess that is where the Chinese part of me came from. My mother tells me that my brothers and I are  Chinese though I honestly only know one thing in Chinese which is 'ni hao'.

Just wanted to share this. I'll type more random things later. Cause hey, it's Friday!
